Found a USB sync/charge cable for Samsung G600 which shares the same connector as i780 on ebay.

This case looks good. I wonder how it looks from the screen view.

Although there are holes for charging and micro sd card access, I wonder if the filmsy cover on the phone will break faster as we need to bend further out if the phone is insider the case.

You can always cash and carry from DOML's office in Chinatown. I always go there to put on Martin Fields whenever I get new toys.

Hello all you Samsung i780 users!

I'm looking for people who want to buy the proper sized Beyza case for their i780.

Currently the one sold by DOML is the i600 sized case. If you look closely, it doesn't cover at least 3 mm of your i780.

Anyway, I've called DOML who said that they will not be bringing in the VL15. I want to buy one directly from the US and was wondering if any one of you are interested in getting one from there so we can share shipping costs.

The price of the VL15 Beyza case is USD 33.50 (excluding local shipping costs), approximately SGD 47

I've calculated that if I buy only 1 piece, it will cost: USD55.40 (SGD78.11)

If at least 3 of us buy the PROPER size casing, the price will drop to SGD 57.50.

The ones sold at DOML are VSL15 not VSL13. At least that's what's printed on the barcode on the box. And the size fits properly on my i780. You may want to go down to their office physically to try and make sure that you get one of those VSL15.

I just called DOML...they said they DON"T have the VL15, but have the VL13 which is meant for the i780. When I clarified that the i780 casing should be longer, the staff there said that the *NEW* VL13 is meant for the i780

I'm going down to check that out later today. If it is true, then I'm getting one without doing an online order. Staff said there are 23 colors....*LOL* they don't even have that many on the Beyza website...anyway, I'm still happy enough to go down there and check it out.

In comparing the stock screen protector and the MF one, I feel that the MF allows more light through it which makes the screen clearer. On the same brightness, the stock SP seems darker.

Proporta has also released their so called ADVANCED SCREEN PROTECTOR.

Wonder has anyone tried it yet?

Don't trust what you see on their website. The pictures are probably photoshopped to make them look good. I had a Noreve case for my Treo 750 before. I've to say that their workmanship is quite crude. Looks like one of those cheap China made cases from pasar malam stall. Don't know if they've any improvements since then, but then I'm staying away from this brand as I don't think it's worth the extra $$$ for bad workmanship compared to those $20 cheap cases.
