After few installations of 3rd party SIP/T9, your autocomplete may not work correctly due to changes made by the software. ie. no contact pop-ups on click to: for sms or no dictionary pop-ups while normal writing.
before installing any new sip, take note or backup these reg keys/values;
hkcr\keyboard layout\preload\*
hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\layouts\*
hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\keyboard layout\*

anyone has a backup of the above for HTC Touch?
Those with the old ROM(w/o XT9) pls post the value here.
I done this step on my Zinc , auto complete in name field back to normal then....
Goto Start, Setting, Input,
Select XT9 on the pull down menu
Select Option,
Select Use Microsoft Default input
Select ok
(You will be prompted to re-start )

Select Use Microsoft Default input
Select ok

hi raindanze, u can do like wat lmwee did which is to restore back WM5/6 default SIP. Zinc like HTC Touch uses its own keyboard, so chances u'll not have autocomplete unless u restore`em back...
