HTC did not turn a deaf ear (well not totally in a sense) to the recent protest by users regarding the video performance on the affected devices and the engineers are working on a fix. However it aint a new video driver to utilize hardware acceleration of the Qualcomm chip but just a improve performance for common on-screen tasks like scrolling and other similar issues as reported by the::unwired.

HTC has made available the ROM on their website today which they seem to call it shipped version but the version is higher than what my device has...
