i've dopod 838pro. been trying to convert vob(dvd format) into mp4 to play on my 838pro. using Plato DVD to Pocket PC converter.

unfortunately the mp4 file format cannot be played on my dopod 838pro.

any advice? which converter should i use if i want to watch those video i've recorded from my dvd recorder. ADVICE PLS? btw is there any freeware converter?

thanks for the reply. no i haven't convert to avi yet. as the software i use convert directly to mp4. any recomended software? wouldn't it be more troublesome from vob to avi then mp4?

TCPMP can play flv file also using the flv plugin

is there any free and fast converter to convert those dvd recorders VOB files to MPEG4 to be played on 838 pro?
