been using this for 3 days now. if it's open,most devices can connect.if wep enabled,only laptops and umpcs can connect.wm devices can't even if thw wep key is entered . still figuring the solution ....but this a great app.

How is the setup like? Just a cab file to install? Need to tweak any registry further?

I remember initial version needs a lot of registry tweaking to get it working.

Power! is there any way can set WEP?

very amazing! Using it with my p750 and connect with my ipod Touch. Works like a charm! With wep configured. Now my iPod finally has 3G... no, 3.5G support...hehe

How to configure WEP?

anyone.... tried using internet sharing setting, but cant find WEP. :(

After you have install the app into your Windows Mobile device, it will create a peer-to-peer WiFi connection named WMMWifiRouter. Click on it and it start the configuration, go to the next page (Configure Network Authentication) and set Data Encryption to WEP. Input your desired Network Key, then click Next follow by Finish..

Its connected but couldn't open anything in IE

May be a proxy issue...

Can you try to set up internet sharing via USB cable to see if that works - otherise you need to see the proxy setting on your comp / PPC.

WMWifiRouter now has been updated to version 0.91...

v0.91 (14-01-2008):
- Improved registry backup / crash cleanup.
- Added IP block configuration.
- Now only connects to Ad-Hoc networks.
- Changed some WiFi control code.

I got it to work for my X800 using M1 SunSurf. I use my Laptop to connect to my X800 and it works... I can surf the Internet.

I can only connect through usb not BT.

I am connecting via Wifi (ie using X800 as a wireless router)... prior to that BT and USB works fine without any additional programme installed...

Be cautious with the latest version 0.91. After I installed it into my Asus P750, my Internet Sharing doesn't work anymore (both USB and Bluetooth). And after I uninstall it, I can't turn on my WiFi anymore. So watch out..

So u hard resetted?

I am trying ways to revive it. But from the look of it, I think I will have to resort to a hard reset..:(

I will have to do a hard reset, but I think I will wait for the new ROM for the P750 which will be release in these couple of days.
