Heya all,

have always wanted to swap the New SMS and New Emails so that New SMS shows up first in the HTC Action Screen or QuickTasks (whenever we slide up our keypads in the HTC Touch Dual).

Disclaimer: Playing around or entering the wrong values can cause issues. In this case, the HTC Action Screen could cease to function. So Backup first before trying.
or if you have resco explorer, export the "biotouch" key, where you'll be able to re-import should you encounter issues.

if you wanna do the same as me, here's the How to?
1. Using a registry editor, navigate to this location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen

2. Rename the "App_0" key to "App_0x" or to anything that doesn't cause a conflict
3. Rename "App_1" key to "App_0"
4. Rename "App_0x" to "App_1"

5. navigate to the new "App_0" key, and change the "yPos" dword from "80" to "40". Note its a decimal numer so you shouldn't include the "".

6. In the "App_1" key, change the "yPos" dword from "40" to "80"

7. Shut down properly (press and hold the power button) or switch off the unit for up to 15sec.

have attached my key.reg export for those that want the easy way. Remember to shut down properly or switch off the unit for up to 15sec to enable system writebacks.


Apps.
To change the Apps in one of the 7 items of the list, edit the
"Path" - where the app resides, "Name" - the label you wanna see on the Action Screen, and "Param" - special switches, amongst others.

Icons.
You can change the icons too, but you need to make brns and name it as xxxxxx.brn and place it in the "\windows" folder.


Known Bug (very minor to me)
After swapping the order, the 1st 2 icons get mixed up until i press the down button 3 times (i.e. go past them to select something else with the dpad).
