For those of you who are obsessed with 'cleanliness' and do not like to see their start menu littered with list of recent programs, I offer two methods.

Method 1 (Recent program list will NEVER show up)
Install SBSH iLauncher
- When you add shortcut to the tabs, do not take .lnk files from the Start Menu\Programs.
- Instead, do a bit of work and go to the specific programs folder to create shortcut from .exe files yourself.
- DONE! Everytime you go to program with the shortcut u created, it will not appear in the recent program list!

Method 2 (Effective only after reset)
You will need MemMaid
Go to the System Tweaks option and check 'Clean Programs History on reset' and thet recent program list will be emptied everytime you reset.

To keep things neater, this is what I do typically:

#1:
- Create a folder under \Windows\Start Menu (e.g. TyTN II)
- Copy all short cuts from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs to this new folder
- Select this new item "TyTN II" from Start -> Settings -> Menu
- TyTN II will appear in your Start Menu and you can run the programs from there

OR

#2:
- Copy all the shortcuts from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs to \Windows\AppButtons

#2 is preferred if you need to map those applications you need into the hardware buttons. I noticed that WM6.0 by default searches the applications from few folders:
\Windows
\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
\Windows\AppButtons

In a nutshell, so long you do not run any applications or have other system programs (e.g. SPB PocketPlus, AE Button, etc) calling applications from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs or \Windows\Start Menu, your recent tasks list will be empty.

Install vicott's ClearTemp and there's an option to clear your recent programs, just tick and enable and after you execute to clean the recent program list will be cleared.

If you totally do not wish to have recent entries (like me), just create folders in the Start Menu and place the shortcuts there.

e.g
\Windows\Start Menu\Applications
\Windows\Start Menu\Games
\Windows\Start Menu\Multimedia
\Windows\Start Menu\Utilities
