sorry but i'm totally new to WM not to mention WM6. just got the Eten X800...was wondering how do i download freewares onto it. Some are .CAB and i don't know the process of installing those freeware like better alarm clock with snooze, task manager and so on..

Just copy the .CAB files onto the memory card or device and use the file explorer to locate the file and just tap on it with the stylus.

For CAB files lots make the mistake of unrar-ing or unzipping it and placing all the files in your device, resulting in them unable to uninstall anything. All you have to do is to transfer the CAB file whole to your device and tap to execute from the location.
