currently still trying it out, but so far it feels good! probably as good as the one found in Treo which I had tried previously.

for $12, I think it's well worth the money!

one very very useful feature over the Palm's version of threaded messaging application.

it retains the standard windows mobile mail database, i.e. you can always uninstall this application and your mail will still be accessible by the default tmail application. What this means is also that you can use appilcation like Jeyo along with a threaded messaging application.

is this only for smart phones?

applicable for

WM6 smartphone standard and professional
WM5 pocketpc phone.

hope there will be constant updates on this. Many of them just came out with a buggy version and never update.

so far, it has been rather stable for me.

the only thing that bugs me so far is that if the tmail is already opened in the background, the system shortcut to extremetext will not work. But it's just a small issue, it doesn't affect the functionality of the application.

If only it looks like bubble text on iPhone... :P

If you've hung around the Smartphone scene long enough, you know that Birdsoft isn't going away anytime soon. Highly recommended.

Was testing the trial but a few question and also not sure if that is the trial limitations, appreciate if anyone can ans the following :-
1) It seems like the options cannot be changed, is this a limtaton on the trial software or non compatibility (I using TyTN II for testing).
2) Since above can't change can't check if the Message One Line on the options means to see the message all in 1 line and trancate longer text
3) Notice that the above is not tick on the trial version , does that means that the trial is showing all the text in full as I have discover that the text is trancated after 30-40 chr max.
4) If above is true can the full text be displayed for boh in and outgoing msg.

Thanks
DT
1) Oops just realised that the options screen cannot be changed by using the screen but by using the navi pad.
2) One line means one line, untick means show to max liow.
Also realised that yes the screen displays to the max and to see full msg have to click on the navi pad instead of using the screen.

Probably designed for the smart phone without the touch screen but still usable.

I discovered a very reliable threaded SMS client for Pocket PC Phone. It handles both square and rectangular displays. It has some good configuration options for the display and has an excellent popup notification functionality too.

Downsides are that it only runs on WM 5.0 or better and the license needs to be activated.

Otherwise, a nice simple application which is not so hot on graphics and presentation but has good functionality/setup opions.
