Before WM6, I was using the Spb suite on my Today with
1. PocketPlus
2. Diary
3. Weather
4. Time
5. Phone Suite

Now the HTC Home has the basic functionalities with limitation in customisation (even with the 3rd parties software).

And it is taking up so much space on the screen, leaving just about 85 pix for the rest of the screen. :(

I do give it to HTC who has put in the HTC Home right from the box for any new users.

For me, I am switching back to my Spb suite instead. smartass.gif

Any opinions ?

Yes, after looking at how much screen space is wasted by HTC Home, I switched back to Spb Pocket Plus + Diary + Phone Suite.

I've gave it up as well, I prefer to have more control what I want and what I don't want.

Same here! still prefer the must have spb pocket plus and pocktalarm on my today screen.
HTC Home took up half of the screen and I dont like the vertical bar to be appeared if all were to be enabled.

Stick with HTC home and try to make good use of it.

On screen only HTC home and appointment calender :D

Hi thescum, i really like your today page. can u share how u set or "parked" the HTC Home into Pocketbreeze?

Hey dudes,

For Spb PocketPlus 4.0.2, you can embed plugins into Spb PocketPlus Today plug in.

Thus, under Start->Settings->Today, you just need to enabled 1 Today plugin item, which is Spb PocketPlus.

Then you can create several tabs. And put different plug-ins into different tabs.

I have 3 vertical tabs:

#1: I called it Home - where I have HTC Home, Newsread, Live Search and GPRS Monitor

#2: I called it My Scheduler - where I dedicate the whole screen for Spb Diary

#3: I called it Phone Profile - where I only have Phone Suite plug in enabled.

Try it. You can now have virtually many Today Screens by a tap of a tab. wub.gif

Spb Pocket Plus is friendly as hell, however you are only allowed a maximum of 6 large tabs, small tabs i have never try yet. grin.gif

Yo bro,

Wow! 6 tabs.... I haven't reach to that stage yet. grin.gif

I find it quite difficult to fully fill up 3 tabs already... grin.gif

One gripe though is HTC Home. Once it is embedded into one of the Spb PocketPlus tab, it will not be able to response to "Action" key press of the Navigational button on the TyTN II.

Maybe some registry tweaking can enable it.... I'm still hunting for it... blink.gif

I use the HTC Home and Spb Pocket Plus separately thats why i do not have such a problem, one advantage i have on my Advantage is my screen, the HTC Home does not take up much space, leaving me with space to play around with.
