This is not a "transplant" or a port over from HTCTouch, it is a new Flash based software started from scratch so shld be okay, there are some things still not working yet...but very promising.

To start, swipe your finger from bottom to top. To turn the cube, swipe finger left to right. To reverse, swipe finger right to left. To return to starting standby screen with clock, swipe finger top to bottom.

You can also change the standby background picture by changing the jpg file.

Thanks Symphony great app however is there anyway to get rid of the words ByKa_Cubelauncher DEMO on the Today's screen? Funny to have it there when my name aint ByKa...

Did not notice anything important that is not working yet. May be some minor stuff. No harm trying. A lot of people are testing it.

I don;'t think so. Byka is a Hungarian name for the software alto in Hokkien sounds like pai-ka In Cantonese it is ok, I am Cantonese

Wow ...this thing rocks big time. The menu panels are all highly configurable, you can configure them to launch anything you like...and can change icon as well. The configuration application is provided, use that to configure all your menus. Just tried it, it works. See screenshot of configurator.

Tip: To launch the Configurator iteslf by using this CubeLauncher,
Steps:
1. Goto device\Program Files\Szabi\CubeLauncher\Cube_Config.exe
Tap on it to start the configurator application
2. Go to tab -->P5: Settings --> select bottom right dot
3. Set the correct program path to \Program Files\Szabi\CubeLauncher\Cube_Config.exe
i.e. if you install on device on me.

Further tip:
To go back from the CubeLauncher to your normal Today screen just press the cancel call button

By the way, this may be a good launcher for the HTC TyTnII to complete the TouchFlo feel.

Any effect on battery life? My 6828 battery life not so good these days as i believe my phone is getting old.

No effect as you can still switch "off" (suspend) your PPC when not in use.

Further tips:
1. The CubeLauncher can be launched by the small icon on the bottom right of Today screen.
2. Tapping on lower centre portion on the front screen will start the cube menu
3. Tapping on the blue icon on the right bottom section of the front will close the launcher

Can. This is just an applications launcher. It can launch up to 6x4=24 applications + 12 favorite contacts (phone). It is not a program as such. You can switch back and forth from Today screen to this thing. Just map a hardware button (e.g. record button) to it to start it easily. Just a tap on the right Blue icon it will revert back to normal Today screen. The newest is version 2. It is now fast and stable. I would love to show it in operation. Very nice to use.

I now can use one hand, just swipe across with my thumb to turn the cube and access & launch many applications easily.

PocketContactManager(CM) rocks bigger than iContacts! It is good!
Works well with CubeLauncher. Now to get a "compatible" dialer skin for the CubeLauncher for my "HP Touch"

As I have said earlier, this thing is a Launcher. Wisbar is a different thing, a task switcher that is a Today plugin. They are not the same kind of application and they don't clash. You can switch between the two sytem easily.

Just tested Version 2:

1. The cube turning is now much more responsive...very good! A+
2. The "Demo by ByKa" text has now been completely eliminated...
3. SMS and Phone dialing now works with the Contacts...tested
4. There is now Quit menu

I find this Cube Launcher application very useful when in a crowded MRT train and you need to call someone or start an application urgently without using a stylus.

Cool application but dont know why some applications just wont execute...

wah sian...just now still working fine...now when i touched the analog clock, it went off and stop there...won't go to the next screen...

The cubelauncher by default has settings based on a ppcphone that ByKa uses. If we use on ours we need to configure the launcher to suit ours. So far I can launch anything I want by configuring it...

would like to ask, how to install this version 2??? cause I tried download the previous 1, but seems takes forever, and version 2 , no exe file....how to install???can enlighten??? pai seh...

The installer is a self execute cab file. Just download and then tap on it to install.

Just unzip and place the contents in anyplace. when you want to launch the application, just double click the cube2.swf.

Just remember to install the Flash Lite before that.

how is the performance? does it drain the battery or slow down anything?

it is just a flash program, so doesn't really drain the battery. but you will notice a little bit slowdown when you use it to launch the apps as compare to the direct way.

One more thing is, you need to configure to make some shortcut works for your device as the default setting is used by the author himself.

Can't edit the previous post. anyway I've just tested the edited version which just released on 9/10, the performance has improved a lot, now you don't feel the slowness as I have mentioned above.

so cn replace the current main page? i put in all the pages in .. though look cool. but I think some shortcuts need to change and not all are in it. but look cool.
just wated to change the photo on the front page. too sexy already...

though is gd. but however, when I activate a close all command. it closes also this program.

You can actually replace the sexy background with another Windows Mobile/Vista like background, you can get it from HERE.

thanks bro lmf2501. i did tt earlier already. as I don't like program to run in the back ground. so i hv the habit of closing all background running programs. by doing tt, the CUbe Launcher also being turn off. Phone memory running low. so I uninstall the application already. but I would say it's cool.
