Seconded. Many plugins and pretty good skinning ability. (:

Try Mortplayer - sound quality is very good. Especially if u like bass. :)
GS player is good too but not as full featured as Mortplayer.
By the way, mortplayer and GS player are FOC.

I'm on TCPMP (known as CorePlayer now). This suits every of my need and I never looked back into other players which I was using prior to TCPMP.
PS: I'm playing videos on D810 with ATI Imageon Drivers enabled on my TCPMP ;)

I've tried most of what has been discussed here (though I am still on WM5, but going on to WM6 sometime this week).
I mainly listen to audio books and am looking for one which allows bookmarks and control via BT (I've got a sonicgear stereo BT). Here are the problems I have found so far, and yet have to resolve the player to choose:
a) Media Player - cannot handle playlists > 500 songs, it goes haywire and hangs. Also difficult to organize, no bookmarks to allow me to stop and start where I stopped.
b) Pocket Music - great player, handles everything including bookmarks. Dims screen, but leaves a footprint on my today screen which I cannot re-activate or re-start. Hangs up system after that.
c) TMPlayer (CorePlayer 0.72r) This was my old favourite for playing movies on my older system however, very poor in playing music as there is no bookmarks. Cannot control over BT
d) Mortplayer - plays well, dims screen, plays in background. After that it hangs system as I cannot turn my system back on without a soft-reset.
Plus others. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I'm using a Dopod 810 with SonicGear BT stereo headset. I haven't had this problem with my old iPaQ, though I did not use BT then.
Thanks

Had the same problem with TMPlayer.
Switch to CorePlayer 1.11 and all your troubles will go away. Works well with bookmarks and the SonicGear BT headset.

anyone know how to enable coreplayer to keep playing music even if i power down my unit?
Anyone knows of a media player that can play the mp3s at a faster speed? ie, playing a mp3 at 2x rather than 1x of normal speed.
Thanks!! :D

For those who have chinese songs (with chinese filenames) and use saved playlist (e.g. ASX, M3U, or PLS), I have to say it is very unfortunate that only WMP is able to support both at the same time.
