It is the Aliph Jawbone right? Or is it a re-branded version?

The jawbone to be released could be a rebranded Aliph Jawbone but its known as JAWBONE AIR

KJC informed that the launch of Jawbone by iTech in Asia Pacific has been delayed to end June 2006. Sorry for the delay.

I am at US now, saw the real device and used it, really good noise cancellation as promised.

Just called KJCTech. The customer service personnel told me that it will not be brought it. Her actual words were 'Not at the moment'. Could not even get an availability date. I think Aliph is having problems meeting demand.

According to KJC Technologies, the production of Jawbone was unable to catch up with the demand in USA. As such it is still not released in Asia Pacific probably until end of the this year 2007.

Maybe we can organize Mass Order / Bulk Purchase since it is being sold in the states.

I got a jawbone from China ebay www.taobao.com for 420RMB.
It looks like real but I have yet to test it since I got it only last night.

Just tested the headset from China. Works well with:
Apple Powerbook
Dopod 818pro
Nokia N95

I can listen to music as well on the N95 and the Powerbook but on the Dopod 818pro I could only use it to talk on the phone. Music won't play. But maybe that's because my Dopod is faulty. the speaker has died and I could only get audio with headphones.

I have yet to test the Noise Shield function.
If it works, my 420RMB is well worth!

Hows the sound quality? Pls let us know if the noise shield function works, wonder if this is the real mccoy or an imitation?

P.S. If this is the real stuff, we can perhaps request for a mass order and get better pricing from the supplier? We can also save some on shipping in the process.

However, I offer no such confirmation.

I am also taking a great leap of faith in placing this order with this china guy.

I'm interested as long as 99.9F can confirm that this works like the real McCoy, i.e. the noise cancellation feature actually works. Also, when ordering, pls inform the china party that we need the 110V - 240V AC/DC charger instead of the 110V. I've been corresponding with this fellow but since u r doing the M.O., i'll ride along. Can u hold out on the order till 99.9F replies? Thks!

P.S. The china party mentioned that they can provide 1yr warranty (not at this price of course). Can u negotiate for some short term warranty, like 1 mth just to be safe in case we get a D.O.A?

Hi guys, sorry have been too busy this week.
The noise reduction seems alright. I haven't been in a really noisy situation to test it. But so far, the sound quality has been satisfactory.
I'll give the look a 9.9/10

No warranty, of course but a manual in English is included. The only thing is, it only came with 2 ear buds instead of the 4 you get from the original jawbone website ( 2 sets of ear loops included).

Hi, I work in China and got a chinese friend to do the transaction online for me. Taobao now has a service where you only pay upon receipt of the item.
I'm back in S'pore now( for a month) so am not able to help.
If any of you have chinese friends in China, I'm sure they can help.
