Full Version: Workaround for X500 and Bluetooth Headset

Hi all,

(Disclaimer- Pls DO a BACKUP before trying this)

I was playing with the registry so that I could somehow get the Bluetooth Headset re-pairing work again after I disconnect the bluetooth and reconnect it back.

Just go to HKLM-Software-Microsoft-Bluetooth-DefaultDevice-Search

Under the "Search" Look for "Address". Now the default value is set at "0", just change it to "1" [Decimal value] (without quotes of course).

And you can start to test it even without a soft reset.

If you using Motorola HT820, to get repairing work if you disconnected the bluetooth, just switch on the Bluetooth on the PDA and press the Play/Pause button on the HT820 and you will get connected again.

Give it a try and have fun.

Regards,

Techx

REMEMBER - Always Do a BACKUP before Registry Tweaking!
