Full Version: Reason why Treo750v can't answer call when locked!

Noticed that if I locked 750v (either Simple PIN or Strong Alpha) I can't answer an incoming call. Only way to answer incoming call is to first enter the codes BEFORE allowed to answer!

Did a web search and this problem seem to occur for others as well.

hi GadgetGuy,

I dont have this problem on my device and I dont think it happens to other Pocket PC Phones as well...if you have password locked your device, what you can do is to answer the phone with the green call hardware button...and you should be able to answer the call...

Just found the problem. It is a bug/limitation of Treo WM.

If device is set to lock with password AND Owner's information is set to display, then users can't answer incoming calls! To fix this, uncheck option to display indentification information in owner Information.
