Managed to get my winxp laptop dialup to M1 3G after quite a long try.
Just to share my experience here:
Prerequsite:
1. bluetooth enabled winxp laptop (Desktop?? You are kidding! :-) )
2. Dopod 900 already setup to connect to M1 3G network

Instruction:
1. Disable bluetooth activesync service on your winxp laptop
2. Make your dopod 900 discoverable
Settings->Connections->Bluetooth->Mode->check "Turn on Bluetooth" and "Make this device discoverable by other devices"
3. Perform pairing between winxp machine and dopod 900. you will be asked the 4 digit password on your laptop. Just key in anything and key in the same password when prompted at your dopod 900
4. When asked on your laptop which service to use for your dopod 900, choose dialup networking. Now your laptop should be installing a new device called bluetooth modem
Note: Since you may be using different bluetooth software on your laptop, I do not elaborate exactly the actions on winxp end for the above. What is more important are the following settings on the dialup connecton
5. On your laptop:
Control Panel->Phone and Modem options -> Modems -> Bluetooth Modem -> Properties -> Advanced -> Extra initializaton commands; In the text box key in the followings:
at+cgdcont=1,"ip","sunsurf"
6. On your laptop: Start->Connect to->BluetoothConnection->Properties->Configure->Maximum Speed; set a higher speed than default. I am using 460800.

To connect:
1. On your dopod 900: Programs->Wireless Modem->Connection Type=Blutooth->Start
2. On your laptop: Start->Connect to->BluetoothConnection
Key in *99# as phone number. username and password can be left blank.
3. Now you should be able to connect

Hope this set of instuctions can be helpful to people with similar setup.
