hi guys,
Lets not blame your device to be buggy and switch to another alternative device...why not look at how to make your device more stable???
I have compiled certain rules recommended to be followed after having multiple PMs to ask on how to make the device more stable...so far it works for the guys and I will be sharing with you guys on the rules...
1. Installing softwares at wrong locations
==============================
This will increase the chance of software conflicts...
for example, know what to install at Device ROM and what to install in SD Card...
Today Plugin related (PhoneAlarm, Spb Pocket Plus, Omega Battery Pack Pro), SIP related (CE-Star, Monster Chinese), Task Manager related (vBar, Inclose Mobile, Magic Button), PIM related (Agenda Fusion, Pocket Informant) should go to device ROM memory
Games related and other softwares can go to your SD card...
2. Impulse installation
===================
try not to install too much softwares in your device...by doing so, will increase the chances of software conflicts and also decrease the memory of the device thus directly affecting the performance of the device too...
always remember, install softwares that you use frequently and avoid impulse installing (install softwares, not using and leaving it there for a very long time)
3. Install programs that are WM5.0 compliant
=================================
Its highly recommended to install programs that are WM5.0 compliant...installing non WM5.0 compliant softwares might increase the chances of a software conflicts...
4.Registry Editing
================
Registry editing found in the Tips and Tricks section also helps in improving the stability of the device...
5.Upgrade to the latest ROM
======================
Always make sure that the ROM is upgraded to the latest one...previous ROM might be buggy and usually the latest ROM will fix all if not most of the bugs encountered in the previous ROM...
by following these golden rules mentioned above, I am pretty sure that you will have a much more stable machine...
please feel free to add if you guys have any other pointers to add towards a more stable device...
