Happen to see this at madaco.
Disable USB charge:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\usbfndrv
and change the
EnableUsbCharging to '0'
Soft reset.
Docc.
Source: xda-dev
But the problem is that I cannot find this folder named as usbfndrv...
My unit is Dopod 900 any clues?

You can create a new registry key with that name. Anyway, this tweak has been posted a couple of times before.

To limit the cycle of charging.. I only charge it when it is abt less than 15% of power left.. Well this comes from personal experience... Example my nearly 3 yr old laptop battery still can lasts 4hrs or so.

U mean create another registry key named usbfndrv in the built in section then put enableusbcharging in the new usbfndrv folder?

The registry settings doesn't work on my Dopod 818 Pro.
Double checked after soft reset, it has been saved as 0, instead of 1. Still it doesn't work.
Maybe my sync-charge cable too 'powerful'

i think my experience with my Eten M600 is when I let the battery drain to less than 15% ah my reception bcomes distorted... so as and when I have a chance, I will charge it... just to no experience the distortion in the voice quality during a phone call...
Any reasons why this is happening to my phone?

I tried creating the registry key and then reset my O2 Atom. It still charges. Any other Atom users have the same problem? Please advice. Thank you.
