This is the first time a Sega Genesis/Megadrive emulation to Pocket PC platform.

Emulation: Should be identical to Genesis Plus/SDL.
68K core: Either Musashi or Cyclone can be used.
Sound: Yes, works ok.
Save/load state: Yes, but saves should be used with the same 68K core.
Toolbars: Yes, switched with hardware button.
On-screen tap-zones: Works, but not configurable right now.
Zipped ROM support: Sure.

For ultimate gaming experience use stylus virtual taps as per the zones A, B, C, A+B etc for actions and use D-pad to move your character/fighter around.

Would love to play Genesis games in my pocket pc (D810 - WM 5.0), but copying the .exe file into my storage card and launching it from there has been unsucessful...

Can anyone here be kind enough to share the proper installation process...? Would love to play RPGs in my D810....

create a folder in yr storage card n name it sega or watever name u favour n dump the files that u unzip when u click on the link HERE pal, for yr D810 u can click on the XScale build...

u can leave out the genpp.cfg n genpp.txt files, just unzip n extract the files to yr pc n transfer it to the folder u created as stated above n execute

However, I still have a problem..., I can't seem to find its other options such as sound on/off..., portrait/landscape mode..., and other configuration options....

Is it because the D810 doesn't support n0p's .cfg file....??

Well...., these are minor issues, the important thing is that the emulator loads the roms without any problems at all....!!!

any differences between the XScale build and the ARM build? can both work in WM 5 ?

i believe WM5 is XScale n WM2003 is ARM, its so for my case n member vinzdicate case

I have gotten the emulator already (thanks to LMF!), but I am unable to enable the tap zones.



The tap zones I am refering to are the A, B, C, A+B, B+C etc.

I find it quite difficult to play using the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Are you or anybody able to help?

It could be the Game you are playing with does not support the virtual tap?

Unrar the file, place the sega folder in your storage card and execute toload the ROM files you have from there.
