If your radio is too soft, try this..
Use a nokia headphone instead of the O2 original ones.
The music is crisp and clear, also my volume is set to minimum!!!
I use this Nokia head set for phone calls too..

And yeah.. the radio is louder too! Probably due to the cable resistance. On top of that, the reception improved as well! I was previously using the cable provided with Sony MDL-EX91 earphones, and they don't have a microphone channel. With the present one, there, is, so probably that channel is used as the antennae as well
