Just to share!!

I'm using this tip and is darn fast on my Universal. Its about changing the Font Cache Size

If you've Tweak2K2 or Pocket Tweak you could change it from there

If not (like myself) just use a registry editor and go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Systems\GDI\SYSFNT and under CS change from original 0x0(0) to 0x4000(16384)

Save the change and soft reset.

You get noticeable faster performance now!!!

if i not wrong i seen this tip in ppcsg before..its not just for the universal...font cache size will speed up most ppc/ppcpe out there...u can even set it up to 32768 if u're the extreme type grin.gif this amy of ram is supposed to disappear from your usable ram tho (at least this is supposed to be true for wm2003se...wm5 i not so sure..) but its too negligible to make your usable ram vary by too much and the performance improvement is pretty good too!

not for ppc models low on ram tho...i mean if u're low at ram and u still wanna set some additional ram aside for display font cache u'll just be stabbing urself...

I set my Mini's video cache to 32768 and didn't noticed any difference in RAM used.

I did the setting change - can see no change. Anyways had no complains on the speed earlier so wouldn't know. Anyone else feels the speed is faster?

If your device is running at optimum, you won't feel any difference but those who experience lags in their devices discovered that this tweak does speed up the device.
