Hi all this tips allowed you to manually assigned files like mp3 to player you like.

Some people enquiry how to assigned back MP3 files to the WMP when they accidentally assigned to other player and not able to assign back.

Here the trick using registry editing.

Under hkey_classes_root/.MP3
Change the Default value to [MP3FILE] <- this normally changed to others for association purpose
Next
under hkey_classes_root/MP3FILE/Shell/Open/Command
Makesure the Default value is [wmplayer.exe]

Thats all you can do the same things to other extension too if you are sure that the program able to read the file

Cheers
