Thought a step by step guide for newbies would be helpful but the Credit goes to Bro Riv! Thank you!
1) Using a Registry Editor, navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
2) Next, select File follow by New & Key
3) On Key type in "Settings" & select Done.
You're now inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
4) Now, select File follow by New & String Value
5) On Name type in "SMSNoSentMsg" and on String type in "1" & select Done
6) Soft reset your device to complete!

nope, just soft-reset, ie through the reset hole (w/o pressing the power button...)
the atom is acting really weird....

Dude, you need to make the changes, select tools then exit. Turn off the power for like 15 seconds before you on again and then soft reset from there. Should work le.
I found this through some sites.... can't remem whether it is the Axim or Xda site. Anyway, the problem you face is because of the way WM5 works so give this a shot and feedback if it don't work and we'll try to help again.

same for SMS received...if you just receive an SMS and the device hang on you...you got to wait for 15 seconds before you soft reset your device, if not the SMS will disappear from your device...

Ah... this I did not know at all. Infact, if this is the case, whatever changes... 15 sec rule must be applied then.

No.. what i mean is to disable the vibrating mood for the "Message Sent" notification bubble when I switch to vibrating mood. I would still wan the notification to be there but the vibrating mood is irritating.
So, Anyone able to do that or is it impossible? tks in advance again. :)

what i did realise was that once the sms hits in, the sms is not saved until you actually click into it, therefore, if your device hang or u soft reset your msg will be lost.
isn't there anyway to edit the registry settings to auto save the msg into inbox once it comes into the phone?

doing a soft reset using a software instead of the reset button seems to help retain registry settings.
some units which allow you to switch them off will also save settings such as the Dopod 838...

Does Disabbling the notification bubble help to prevent the double sms problem? Or must i still wait for a while before i close the inbox?

Hi Fusionzone,
Before you soft reset try to power off your device for 20 secs first so as to allow the registry edit to flush to the ROM, after that power on your device then soft reset, the edit should be permanant then.
