Ever since Palm and Microsoft announced to the world that the next Treo 700w will be using the Windows Mobile platform, many Palm developers are porting over their award winning programs to the Windows Mobile platform. If you are a developer, you can register for Palm's PluggedIn Program.

Interest in Palm stuff are waning I guess. Nowadays PDA users don't seem excited about them anymore....Treo WM OS hardly created a ripple compared to the tsunami stirred up by XDA Exec and clones.

IT does require some tools?
MS visual C++ ; are there other options available..?

i like the palm, as the development tools is avail freely; when free, can do your own programming or diy softwares...
