Hi All,
I am not sure if any folks do it this way, but I have been using it and it is useful.

As our PPCPE devices are usually touchscreen, everytime we answer the phone, (when we are not using bluetooth or headset), we need to hold the device to our ears but angled away from our faces to prevent:
1. accidentally touching the surface with our face, which:
a. stains it
b. activates something on the touch screen
2. pressing on our leather flap (for those like me using flip up leather case), which
a. activates something on the touch screen

I have worked around that problem by assigning the "Record Button" (which I almost never use) to the "screen Toggle" action in SPB pocket plus.

Thus when I answer my calls, after seeing who called, I will key the "record button" to turn off the screen and then key the Green answer key. As my leather case has a hole at the top for my h6365 speaker, I can hold the conversation pretty comfortably with my leather flap inbetween my screen and my face, without fear of activating anything on the now turned off touch screen.

To hang up, I just key the Red hangup key and leave it as is and let it time out on its own, or I can just turn it on again then off it properly. I can assign another button to the "suspend" action, but I need to use the rest of the buttons so I'd let it be.

Hope it helps someone. wink.gif
