7. On this second options screen, check all things i have checked.

I have checked 'use seperate settings', If you check this box you must click outgoing settings and enter your gmail user name and password again. But just make sure you check the 'SSL' connection and 'outgoing mail requires authentication checked'.

If you are using WM2003 (NON-SE version), you will not have 'use seperate settings' and 'outgoing settings', just ignore it

Now select next.

8. Here is the Outgoing Settings Window, just enter your gmail username and password, and check SSL.

Dear All.
Please do not email the address in the screenshots. That is not my email address. I got the screen shots off from AXIMSITE

Go setup:

1) enter your email address
2) Enter your name, UserName, Password
3) Account information: POP3, Name (any name to identify your yahoo account)
4) Server info:
Incoming - pop.mail.yahoo.com.sg
Outing - smtp.mail.yahoo.com.sg
Domain: <blank>

Shd be able to work as I'm using these settings.

Bear in mind that your yahoo acc must be pop-enabled too. smile.gif

To be a little honest here, allow me a thread hijacking >.<

As you all probably have noticed, when you download new mail in the Main folder of Messaging, it clears the old mail that are in the main folder.

Recently, my Messaging started to behave funnily, such that it would leave new unread mail behind, but in a very odd fashion, meaning that it would clear some unread ones and leave some behind. Any ideas what's going on?

Not that it's very irritating anyway, I got used to the annoyance of not having my old mail, this is a bit of a bonus, but I'm asking for curiosity's sake.

Only the yahoo mail for singapore ie. xxxx@yahoo.com.sg has FREE POP3 account

Yahoo mail for yyyyy@yahoo.com do NOT have free POP3 account - you've to pay for it.

feel stupid asking this but i have done the configuration, now what do i do to download my mail from my gmail acct?
yingjie
There's a button which is an envelope of sorts, saying Send/Receive mail on the bottom toolbar, click it, watch the status bar change, and then you'll see mail appearing.

I have to re-create new account for my Gmail because the first one screwed up, wrong password, how do i delete the old account, i have explored many times, can't seem to do it, thanks

happened to me, too.

you have to be disconnected first. then, when in "messaging", go to "accounts", choose "accounts", then press/hold "pop3" (or whatever name you chose in place of this) until the "delete" option pops up.
jungle
got it, thanks a lot, my mistake was trying to do it when it was connected
