Use P50 for one week, here are some of my experience and tips. Wish they are helpful to others.
1.Install Sprite Backup software at Storage, or Storage Card, then when you need to restore after hard reset, just browse to the folder and run, don't need to install again. And you can restore without PC.
2.Before take out the battery, unlock the battery, WAIT for 5 second, allow it to go into deep sleep mode. If you take out the battery immdiately, it may cause hard reset. This happen to me once.
3.When there is incoming call and the phone rings, touch the volumn up or down button at left side will stop the ring, but the call is not picked up or rejected. The caller still listen to ring tone. Then you can look at the caller id to decide to pick up or reject. This is very useful when you are in meeting but forget to turn the phone to vibration mode.
4.The bluetooth doesn't support A2DP or audio gateway, don't waste time. I already spend two full days to study, this is my result. P50 use Microsoft bluetooth stack which doesn't support A2DP, also it use TI bluetooth chip, which somebody said TI chip doesn't support audio gateway. ( I can't confirm this) I already give up.
If any of the above are wrong, correct me.
If you have any tips, welcome.

Actually having used an audio gateway BT stack before, I must say the MS Bluetooth stack is a LOT more STABLE, and connects MUCH faster.... Not sure if the rest have any other experiences....
But of course, it'll sure be nice to have the cake and eat it too... ( a stable, audio gateway bluetooth stack from MS? )

HI Jordan,
I think that the best stack is still the bt from boardcom build 3900 on the 2i. super stable n u can add a2dp profile to it. No problem with it until now. Always will have 100% connection to the bluetooth headset.
Just my observation.

I am happy my tips help others.
For item 3, I found it when I use O2 XPhone. So I think it should apply to other WM Phone Edition device also. Please try. It's very useful.

hi ToddChen,
this function is applicable to Phone Edition devices as well...IMHO, I find it very useful...I use it quite often especially when my phone rings in a meeting when i forgot to put it to Silent mode...

Cool - any idea if we can install over the existing stack?

hi Jordan,
nope...not possible to over-write a Broadcomm bluetooth stack over a Microsoft bluetooth stack...even if its possible, it would be VERY highly unstable...

True, I ran the Broadcom's BT3900 cab file (left over from my Imate PDA2k days) on my Benq P50. The Today screen was all garbled and the device froze. Had to hard reset.
