new to ppc here...wat to d/l ar? the game data got so many format..

that means i need to have to purchase the game on my pc before i can get it to play on my ppc?

Can post the missing file again. The geocities site cannot access. Had play it in dos mode before and really love it.

juz d/l it n installed in my Mini... agreed that viewing it on my Mini's screen can b quite a pain however gotta get use to it coz its such a nice game! 1 wld expect tt u will hve to pay for it but hey! Its free...

#1 Make a folder on your PocketPC. It can be placed anywhere, but its recommend that you make a folder named PPCTTD on a storage card.

#2 Unzip ppcttd.zip to the folder you made.

#3 PPC TTD is a port of OpenTTD, and OpenTTD uses graphics from the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Transport Tycoon Deluxe is considered abandonware (software old enough to outlast it's copywrites). The following files are needed:

In the /data directory:
trg1r.grf
trgcr.grf
trghr.grf
trgir.grf
trgtr.grf
sample.cat

(UNDER GM FOLDER THERE IS NOTHING INSIDE??HW TO GET THE GM FILES)
For music, the /gm folder requires the following files: gm_ttXX.gm files ("XX" is 00 to 21)

#4 Now that all sounds and graphics from TTD have been installed, run OpenTTD.exe.

#5 The screen will turn white with a "Loading PPC TTD" message at the top. Then the game will display shortly after.

#6 Many options can be changed within the game. Some options though, can be configured through openttd.cfg file in the main directory. Do not edit openttd.cfg unless something is not working right.

Hey can anyone actually host the ttdxppc file for people wanting to download it? the site that hosts it is terribley unreliable its free so there shudnt be any copyright problems an yet no one other than that one site seems to have it!

It was a nice game, Had been playing it ever since it was in DOS format. Still playing in Window Format. Got to really thanks you for sharing the PPC format.

Howver can anyone advise me on how to move around the game as i do not have a navigational button to move around. At present i can ony move left and right.

For me i need to hold on to the home button then you can drag the map using the stylus. It should be one of the button. You can try it.
