This is no vaporware but an interesting new development that Microsoft is looking into. This is in response to Google's innovations in the new Chrome Browser to provide ability to do serious work online using tools that Google is integrating with the Chrome browser. This is to wean away users dependence on Microsoft applications to get work done on their PC /Notebook/Tablet or Netbook. Pretty neat idea and far sighted. Come to think of it, why need to install loads of softwares on our PC which often crashes, suffers virus attacks and losing all our data. If the online browser has all the tools to do word processing, presentation and worksheets, all we need is a mobile device that can connect online, a processor, a screeen and an input method. The browser is also able to store all your work files for you online and you can acccess them anywhere. So Microsoft is not taking it lying down and is developing Windows Cloud in response to Chrome.
