HP has a new candybar "Silver" Windows Mobile 6.1 Std smartphone to offer. It apparently has high speed connectivity (HSDPA 7.2Mbps) with a 1100 mAh batttery, GPS and WiFi. Beyond that not much is known. See more pictures and report here. It purportedly has a sibling codenamed "Oak" which has a slide out Qwerty keyboard.

Looks like it's the irritating smart wheel again in this rumoured HP Oak? It is almost the most attractive Pocket PC Phone with 2 physical input methods found on it.

By the time they announce, it will be a long time away. After they announce and by the time it is on sale, we will all be buying WM7 devices already.

Judging by their past timeline on the 600 and 900 series phones, maybe if we are lucky we will see this phone in 2010.

Sad to say, they are not the leaders anymore.
