This much discussed and intriguing device the Meizu M8 which is rumored to run on Windows CE with 8 GB storage but has an iPhone like touch interface is set to be launched in China and India with prices known. What is unique about this device if indeed it runs on WinCE is that it will be the first to have multi-touch capability for a Windows mobile device.

This really looks like a impressive device. Sad that it tries too hard to be a iPhone. To think of it, maybe it is because of it rtying to be like iPhone resulting it its nice device and UI design... Whatever.... I am...

Still costing around 600-800 SGD, so not exactly as low end as I thought.

The M8 is no iPhone clone. It's music player, for example, goes way beyond anything on any phone today. There's an area at top, just under status info bar, where you can slide to cover art of album you wish to play, a button for viewing the song's video (maybe full screen), an area for lyrics that scroll (maybe as sung, hopefully can show playlist mode instead), and my personal must-have feature, frequency spectrum display.
