Hi.. had anyone ever tested on their samsung omnia or i780 on how to have a longer battery life for your hp?
I realised that 3G consume more battery than 2G... and the difference is around one hours. Therefore, if I am not wrong, currently most of our hp is in 3G. In order to help us ... save our battery longer... I think there is a setting under phone setting whereby we are able to choose instead of 3G... become GSM 900/1800.
And with this... I think you need not charge that often...
Sorry if my tricks.. is not that useful to the rest.... SOrry

u are right abt this bro. also, setting your screen brightness to the lowest also will prolong batt life.

There is little significant benefit for the i780 to me though.
Back when those 3G chips consumed more power, it was up to 50% more battery life.

don't mind sharing how u turn off 3G network cos its unless and a batt sucker. Anyway I always keep a habit of closing all unused tasks , setting screen brightness to low and manually put the ppc to sleep. It will save u power when u really need it. Cheers
