The web pages has since been removed for some reason by HTC, probably it was posted too prematurely by its staff. However Engadget managed to grab some pictures and official details of the HD from that HTC pages before they were pulled off, see here. The screen is confirmed 3.8 inch not 4 inch. Love the 3.8" screen. Hopefully the virtual keyboard will have bigger keys to make typing easier.

I like the 3.5mm audio jack, microsd, 3.8" screen, 5.0mega cam .... to me, its a close to perfect phone already :) quick launch, quick launch !
What's interesting is that from the comparison picture in the other thread it does not seems to me that the screen is actually 1 inch bigger...

bearing in mind the screen takes up most of the form size, whereas in touch pro or diamond, there's a fair amount of space used for the buttons.
btw, 1" quite alot leh, 2.5cm ...
It would be nice if the screen is in VGA just like the Diamond with the sharp text & graphics. Sorry for the noob question, are QVGA & WVGA the same thing? Thanks.
QVGA = 240 x 320
VGA = 480 x 640
W-QVGA = 240 x 400
WVGA = 480 x 800
VGA = 480 x 640
W-QVGA = 240 x 400
WVGA = 480 x 800
in additional, Q means quarter (a quarter of VGA, therefore 320x240)
W means wide ... thus it's a wider version of VGA (height remains the same, 480/240, but wider at 800/400 instead of standard 680/320...
if only HD comes with a DVB-H chip, will be perfect!
