Hmm. The linked page seems to say that 30 Sep will the launch date for UK, Germany and Sweden. Singapore would fall into the launch category of "4Q 2008".
Better NOT to get this set because SE customizes some softwares themselves so software compatibility will be an issue

WM7 is a major upgrade for Windows Mobile, it's more than just WM5 to WM6. So I don't think any manufacturer will consider for such upgrade w/o if hardware is not suitable.

Wow...those fishes swimming around on the fish panel are not just gimmicks...each fish has a function..eg black fish is battery status indicator when you tap on it...coolz.
Don't forget this fellow has higher screen resolution and bigger screen than HTC Diamond or HTC Pro.

Looks like it should have but probably not for all applications, notice in the advert 1st video, when the X1 is turn from horizontal to vertical the screen auto changes from landscape to portrait.
