I intend to buy a Samsung Omnia.
Can you guys tell me how to test dead pixel of the display?
As i know if the unit has dead pixel less than certain number the vendor will not exchange.
So, i wish to test on the spot.

No need to install anything for Omnia.
Just launch the program already there:
\windows\LCDTest.exe

If you are at the retail store, it is very hard to install any utility or even to find windows/LCDtest.exe. I use the method of turning on the camera and cover the len. It has effectively identified dead pixel for two handset with which I rejected and picked the 3rd set with perfect display.
