Introducing the Palm Treo Pro, the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device from Palm. Taking a peek under the hood, it oozes a mini powerhouse, a Qualcomm MSM7201 400Mhz processor, a 320 x 320 TFT touchscreen, with HSDPA/UMTS/QUAD Band you will be sure of a truly international device. It also comes with Wifi, built in GPS, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera with 8x digital zoom. To pack in more punch, it comes with 256MB(100MB user available) and 128MB RAM. IT comes with a microUSB for Active Syncronization, and best of all a 3.5mm headphone jack (I can hear a few yeahs!) The device looks set to open a new door for Palm, just when we least expected it, Palm pulled an ace of a product in the Palm Treo Pro. www.palm.com

really impressed by Palm to come out with a potential winner when we thought they are losing their ground, I think it further reinforce the point that Palm will be serious Windows Mobile competitors in the next few quarters to come.

Too bad it doesn't have front camera and no DVB grin.gif

Just when I thought my dream phone has finally appeared, there's no front camera? Ok granted I hardly do 3G video calls, but still!

I doubt that anyone really uses the front camera, so far I only did a test call once.....

CNET Asia featured a first take on the Palm Treo Pro, check it out!

No specific launch date or price for Asia yet, US price would be US$549... grin.gif
