Please test the two YouTube video players for accessing the full desktop version YouTube on your i900, the downloads are located here at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=362685 in post number one. I believe these two YouTube video player will work on the i900 running MS OS 6.1 (PDA) professional software. I already have these YouTube video players playing on another PDA running the MS OS 6.1 professional software and also works on a smartphone running the MS OS 6.1, works like a charm on both devices.
Just follow the instructions in post number one, the first YouTube video player compontent parts are:
1. The FlashvideeoBundle.cab, install to the SD Card on the i900.
2. TCPMP/Player.cab version 0.81RC1, install to the SD Card on the i900.
3. Next, soft reset the i900.
4. Install the Codecs Plugin Zip Pak to the SD Card on the i900, when all the codec installation is completed, soft reset the i900.

5. Next, go to http://www.youtube.com via your mobile web browser and click (Touch) the video that you want to watch, a drop menu will appear click (Touch) play video and the video of your choice will play.

The YouTubePlayer.Cab is another YouTube video player that will also work on the SamSung Omnia i900, it was design exclusively for Windows mobile pocketPC devices. You can install the YouTubePlayer.cab to the main memory or to your SD card. This is my first post on this website, so if my post is in the wrong place, please forgive me and moderators feel free to move it to the correct place. To all testers, let me know how things work out for you.........!

thank you Technology1 !!!  the latest TCPMP didn't work (it would crash on start), but the following file did the trick:  TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.CAB.zip  (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2326805).  Thanks again man, now I can watch any Xvid files without a glitch!

Technology1,

seems like not working ... sowwy.gif
or instead of 0.81RC1, we should stick to 0.72RC1 then apply the rest of the codecs?
i have installed 0.72RC1 now... have not tried your methods.

but funny thing is now, when i go to www.youtube.com and click a video to view,
it will launch ReadOne player automatically but fails to play.
This only happens to Opera browser,
if i use IE, then it will open in Streaming player, but fails to play also sowwy.gif
how can i change the settings in Opera or IE to let it play with TCPMP?

thanks

You Must have BOTH the Flashvideobundle.cab and the TCPMP/Player version 0.81RC1 installed on your SD Card, soft reset your device, plus install the Codecs Plugin.zip to your SD Card also, soft reset your device. This will not work with thr Opera browser. Please follow the instructions, no short cuts...........! wub.gif

Can we know how many members managed to get this to work over here?
I had tried but encountered the same error.txt problem...

It is driving me mad.

Although i can connect to youtube using the Arcsoft player using GPRS but i find the quality not clear enough. Thinking of trying out this player whether it will be better. Arcsoft player is not clear because it is taking the streaming version of the youtube video which is lesser quality.

Hi Brothers out there....

I've got core player 1.2.5. Thanks to fellow forumers! However, i wish to seek advise on how can i save the .flv file or watch offline? Right now, i'm watching via wi-fi. Or do i need to install anything else to save the videos?

BTW, the H.264 graphics are real nice on a phone! w00t.gif
