After syncing your device and unplugging the usb cable, ActiveSync normally remains running in the backgrond. If you are like me, who don't like unnecessary apps running in the background and find it a hassle to manually close activesync with Taskmanager after each use,there is a freeware app "ASyncKiller" that automatically closes Activesync (on your PPC) everytime you unplug your usb cable after syncing.

yes it works with my I900 running wm6.1. Pls see the ActiveSync guide in PCCSG.
